These are some resources you can use to deepen your understanding of statistical concepts.

The “Introduction to Statistics” chapter of “Introductory Statistics” (Shafer, Douglas S. 2022) gives a comprehensive overview of statistical concepts.

A deeper understanding of study design can be obtained by reading “Appropriate design of research and statistical analyses: observational versus experimental studies” (Kang 2013) and “Study designs” (Ranganathan and Aggarwal 2018).
